Press shop in Vizovice, Czech Republic, with presses up to 800 t and automatic coil feeding lines — serving the automotive industry since 2004. 50 tAlmost all presses have automatic coil feeding lines — a straightener with a coil holder that feeds directly into the press and advances the material in step with the stroke. The operator only changes the coil and monitors the process. The lines were purchased progressively in 2014, 2017, 2022 and 2023. The only press without a feeding line is reserved for a specific two-section tool where the operator inserts the stamping by hand.
Downstream operations

From press tool to dispatch
Most press shops receive their tools from outside and only stamp. We have our own tool shop, ROSTRA Tools, right on the site.
1. Tooling and stamping under one roof
A tool designed and built at ROSTRA Tools moves seamlessly into the press shop after try-out. No transport between companies, no hand-over protocols.
2. Maintenance for the whole service life
When a tool wears or gets damaged, we deal with it directly at Tools. A standard repair takes days, not weeks.
3. One step ahead of the customer
Our designers often find a change that saves material — and in series production that means savings of hundreds of thousands to millions of crowns.
Racking systems for logistics centres
[Customer name to be added once they approve it] For a European customer in the logistics sector we make tools for racking systems used in large distribution centres. The customer has no stamping capacity of its own, so the tool stays with us and we stamp the parts ourselves. The specifics of oversized, heavily loaded parts confirmed that automotive processes and precision transfer well to other industries.

A real result from practice: for the Opel/Suzuki project (rear axle pin, safety part “D”) we historically produced 3.8 million pieces without a single complaint. That approach is still part of how we work today.

What is your maximum press force?
800 tonnes (the Voronezh press after its general overhaul). Most of our production runs on presses up to 800 t.
What materials do you stamp?
Steel (mild and high-strength), stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass. Sheet thickness 0.2–4 mm.
What is the minimum batch size?
Series stamping typically makes sense from [to be added] pieces a year, but we also take on prototype and small-batch projects. It depends on the complexity of the part and the number of stamping operations.
Do you do downstream operations, or only stamping?
We also weld automotive parts, weld nuts, assemble and pack — all on one site.
Can you also build the tool you will then stamp with?
Yes — that is our main advantage. The tool is designed and built by our sister company ROSTRA Tools, and we try it out and put it into production ourselves.
Do you take on projects outside automotive?
Yes. Besides automotive we stamp, for example, racking systems for logistics centres. Get in touch if you need automotive quality outside automotive.

Yes, since 2021. Plus ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Rated a class A supplier in key customers' audits.
